Run it! - in the FocalPoint Service Runtime Environment

FocalPoint’s Service Runtime Environment (SRE) forms the foundation of XciTel’s complete service solution for cellular networks. Its robust operating system is able to execute multiple service applications for millions of users according to the service definition, functional service building blocks and flow logic defined in the Focal Point Service Creation Environment.

The FocalPoint SRE can be logically partitioned into numerous virtual execution environments, in which services are deployed, executed and managed in an “autonomous” environment that is securely protected from other VSEEs. Although services in VSEEs use the same system Focal Point building blocks and resources, they do not affect each other at runtime and never compromise the quality of service. Moreover, “hot” system and application upgrades ensure that operating services and applications are not interrupted by SRE modifications and updates.
