An Experienced Team of Mobile Technology Pioneers

• Yoav Shaked, Founder and Chief Executive Officer
  Mr. Shaked has over 20 years of experience in communications and security, with positions ranging from R&D Management to Managing Director with such companies as Comverse Technology, New Dimension Software and Netology. Having started his career as an officer in the Israeli Defense Force Intelligence Corps, Mr. Shaked has managed and participated in the development of pioneering audio recording, security administration, production automation and cellular messaging technologies over the years.
  In his most recent position as Managing Director of Netology Ltd. (a Comverse Technology subsidiary) between 1995 and 1999, Mr. Shaked was responsible for the development and business deployment of an innovative Short Message Service (SMS) Center for mobile telephone operators. Under his leadership, Netology achieved a turnover of several US $ Million.
  Mr. Shaked holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science with honors from the Tel-Aviv University in Israel.
• Zvi Rosenmann, Founder and Vice President of Research and Development
  Mr. Rosenmann has 15 years of experience in software development, ranging from his military service with the Israeli Defense Forces, to software development and team leadership at such companies as Comverse Technology, New Dimension Software and Netology.
  As Vice President of R&D at Netology, Mr. Rosenmann was directly responsible for the development of a Short Message Service Center for various cellular networks, including GSM, TDMA and CDMA. He was also actively involved in the business strategy and marketing efforts of the company.
  Mr. Rosenmann holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science with honors from the Tel-Aviv University in Israel.
• Uzi Shneor, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development
  Mr. Shneor has 15 years of experience in networking and data communications, having served such companies as Elbit Systems, Digital Equipment, Lannet Ltd. and Lucent Technologies. As Vice President of Product Marketing and Business Development for the Data Solutions Group at Lucent Technologies, Mr. Shneor gained a rich understanding of technology, marketing and strategic partnerships, as well as extensive experience in product, business and channel development.
  Mr. Shneor holds a B.Sc. in Electronics and Computer Engineering from the Ben-Gurion University in Israel, and a Masters in Business Administration from Boston University.
• Avi Broder, Chief Financial Officer
  Mr. Broder joins XciTel after having served as Chief Financial Officer at BRM, an investment house that specializes in nurturing hi-tech start-up companies. Among the well-known companies that have grown under the BRM umbrella are Checkpoint Software (NASDAQ: CHKP) and BackWeb Technologies (NASDAQ: BWEB). Before joining BRM, Mr. Broder was a Senior Audit Manager in the Almagor Accounting Firm and the Liubochitz Kaseirer Accounting Firm.
  Mr. Broder is a CPA in Israel and has a B.Sc. in Accounting and Economics from the Tel-Aviv University.
