- Mr. Roni A. Einav, Chairman of the Board
An accomplished hi-tech entrepreneur and executive, Mr. Einav
brings to XciTel extensive strategic management experience. Mr.
Einav was Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of New
Dimension Software Ltd., a developer of scheduling software that
was eventually sold to BMC Software in a US $700 Million deal
in 1999 (the largest acquisition of an Israeli hi-tech company
at the time). Throughout his career, Mr. Einav has played a major
role in more than ten other technology companies.
Mr. Einav holds a BSc. in Management and Industrial Engineering,
and an MSc in Operations Research from the Technion Israel Institute
of Technology. He has more than 25 years of experience in the fields
of Computer Applications, Planning and Industrial Engineering, Game
Theory and Automated Operations, and is a frequent lecturer on these
subjects in academic, professional and business forums.
- Yoav Shaked, Member of the Board
Mr. Shaked has over 20 years of experience in communications and
security, with positions ranging from R&D Management to Managing
Director with such companies as Comverse Technology, New Dimension
Software and Netology. Having started his career as an officer
in the Israeli Defense Force Intelligence Corps, Mr. Shaked has
managed and participated in the development of pioneering audio
recording, security administration, production automation and
cellular messaging technologies over the years.
In his most recent position as Managing Director of Netology Ltd.
(a Comverse Technology subsidiary) between 1995 and 1999, Mr.
Shaked was responsible for the development and business deployment
of an innovative Short Message Service (SMS) Center for mobile
telephone operators. Under his leadership, Netology achieved a
turnover of several US $ Million.
Mr. Shaked holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science with
honors from the Tel-Aviv University in Israel.
- Zvi Rosenmann, Member of the Board
Mr. Rosenmann has 15 years of experience in software development,
ranging from his military service with the Israeli Defense Forces,
to software development and team leadership at such companies
as Comverse Technology, New Dimension Software and Netology.
As Vice President of R&D at Netology, Mr. Rosenmann was directly
responsible for the development of a Short Message Service Center
for various cellular networks, including GSM, TDMA and CDMA. He
was also actively involved in the business strategy and marketing
efforts of the company.
Mr. Rosenmann holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science
with honors from the Tel-Aviv University in Israel.
- Mr. Boaz Dinte, Member of the Board
Mr. Dinte is a Partner in Evergreen's Venture Capital Group. Prior
to joining Evergreen, he was Corporate Business Development Manager
for M-Systems Ltd., a NASDAQ listed global leader in the development
of Flash-disk memory. Earlier, Mr. Dinte was a senior consultant
with POC, a marketing consulting firm specializing in the high-tech
sector, where he worked on strategic and marketing plans for many
Israeli technology companies.
Mr. Dinte holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, specializing
in Computer Design and Communications from the Technion and an
MBA, Magna Cum Laude, from the Tel-Aviv University.
- Mr. Ronni Benatoff, Member of the Board
Mr. Benatoff is an international businessman with a deep knowledge of the VC industry in Israel and food industry and international trade in Italy. He is member of the Management Board (Vorstand) of Syntek Capital AG, Chairman of the Israel-Italy Chamber of Commerce, member of the Board of Governors of The Jewish Agency for Israel, Chairman of the Board of UIA Endowment Fund and Director in the Board of several companies in Israel and in Italy.
